Luan - Award Nomination

As you may have already seen on our Facebook page, (If you haven’t, go like The Adventure Service on Facebook!) our Apprentice, Luan Windley, has been nominated for Young Apprentice of the Year at the Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 Awards.

The Young Apprentice of the Year Award looks for an individual that has shown dedication, commitment and capability to further his or her career prospects. This is something Luan does every single day here at The Adventure Service.

Luan is currently completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Adult Social Care with West Nottinghamshire College. His tutor, Pauline, was the one who put him forward for this award.

After submitting the application, Luan and his colleague, Lauren, attended an interview to present Luan’s strengths to a panel of judges. He came across fabulously, both came back to centre feeling like the interview had gone well. Lauren got an email few days later to say that Luan had been successfully selected as a finalist, HORAY!

Luan, Lauren and their Director, Helen, will be attending the Mansfield & Ashfield 2020 award ceremony on Friday 10th May 2019, at the Fretwell Centre in Mansfield. This will be our second award ceremony of the year already!

Hopefully it will be a win for Luan and another award for The Adventure Service. Wish us luck!
