VICTORY IS OURS!

NEW STAFF ALERT! The Adventure Service are proud to introduce our new apprentice, Harry Victory. (What an awesome last name!) Harry joined our wonderful team at the beginning of October and quickly settled in.

Harry is 17 and will be working at The Adventure Service 5 days a week as an Activity Support Worker. He is also working towards a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care with West Nottinghamshire College. We were all impressed by Harry’s confidence and initiative when he contacted us directly enquiring about a position at the company. When he came for his interview, he really impressed Mala, Sarah and Terry and interacted fabulously with our Adventurers says Helen and Lee.

Harry when to Garibaldi School in Forest Town. When leaving Year 11, he went to West Nottinghamshire College for one year studying Public Services but fancied a change and wanted to pursue a career in social care. Harry wants to work towards being a Social Worker and what better place to start than here at The Adventure Service with us. His sister has autism, so Harry is comfortable and used to being around people with learning disabilities.

Learn more about our new Activity Support Worker by reading these fun facts below.

  • He has another job at a chippy

  • He is learning to drive

  • He dabbles in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)

  • He doesn’t drink hot drinks (I know, Crazy!)

  • His dream dinner party guest is Ryan Reynolds

  • He runs 5K everyday (When he’s not busy with his two jobs!)

We are all really thrilled Harry joined The Adventure Service and are excited about his future here.
