The Adventure Service have recently appointed two new staff members, Rachael and Clare.
Before Rachael joined The Adventure Service as an office administrator in January 2019, she has worked in Education, Construction, Property Development and I.T. being awarded a number of outstanding achievements in each respective field.
Rachael assists the team in the background and ensures the office runs smoothly, so the front-line staff can keep doing what they do best! Around the office she is known as ‘Rachael Tidy Lady’, she brings order where there is chaos, in her own jovial, inimitable style. She loves helping people and doing the best she can to help!
Rachael enjoys ANYTHING and loves trying new activities and learning new skills, it would be impossible to pin her down to a ‘few’ favourites. She is a total adrenaline junkie through to part time IT geek.
She plays the guitar badly and loves jetting about in her beloved Figaro to retro festivals dressed in big skirts. She enjoys a good rock festival and most of all, meeting new people!
MEET CLARE Clare started volunteering for The Adventure Service in December 2018. She attended some of our training evenings and got a real feel for the place. Helen and Terry were impressed with how she was getting on and employed her as an Activity Support Worker in January 2019.
She has a degree BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a BA (Hons) in Community Justice. She has also had some experience of working with people in a group setting, similar to here at The Adventure Service.
She enjoys being outside in the fresh air and is looking forward to learning new things with us.
We are very excited for our new ladies future at The Adventure Service!
