Education

Our Education Service provides a range of fun, exciting and challenging outdoor courses for learners from Foundation to Post 16 in mainstream and special schools.

The Adventure Service believes that learning outside the classroom, whether in the countryside, woodland or just on the school field - provides an exciting and stimulating change for learners.

Outdoor learning can improve motivation, inspire a sense of wellbeing and can support a reduction in negative behaviour.

Through our experience of delivering activities, we feel that outdoor learning provides an opportunity for those involved to take acceptable levels of risk, develop the ability to deal with uncertainty, learn new skills and independence and raise their environmental awareness.

Learners will work towards their individual targets throughout their time at The Adventure Service. There is even an opportunity to achieve AIM qualifications the prestigious Adventure Service Awards!
